Membership

Why become a KMPL Member?

Becoming a Member of the Korean Mountain Preservation League means that you will be helping to support work projects that are aimed at the continued preservation of Korea's mountains.

It also means that you will be kept up-to-date via e-mail on the lastest events, cleanups, campaigns, and so on of the KMPL.

As a member of the KMPL, you will be showing that the Earth matters to you and you are doing something positive to help; you will be showing that you are part of the solution.

Membership dues are only 50,000 won annually. Upon receiving your Membership, you will receive a Korean Mountain Preservation League Protect Korea's Mountains Support Kit by e-mail. The kit will outline what actions you can take to help protect Korea's mountain ecology.

By simply signing up and joining the KMPL Support Team as a Member you will have already begun to make a difference.

Make a donation to the KMPL

The Korean Mountain Preservation League is 100% non-profit. For our financial needs we rely solely on the exclusive support of our Council Membership Fees, Membership dues, and the kind donations of supporters.

Fees and donations help us to maintain equipment, travel to mountains for cleanups and trail assessment, and the organization of campaigns and seminars.

The KMPL makes full use of all donations and fees for our continued efforts to help protect the Korean highlands.

Nothing goes to waste.

For more information on how the KMPL uses money from donations and Council Membership Fees, or for info on how to donate, please send an e-mail to kmpleague@gmail.com.

We will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Non-financial Donations    The KMPL also accepts non-financial donations in the form of equipment. If you have an old backpack or hipbag that's had its time, we'll be glad to take if off of your hands. We'll give it a good home and put it to good use before its final retirement.

E-mail kmpleague@gmail.com for more details on how you can donate to us your old backpacks or hipbags.

Please remember that the KMPL is 100% non-profit.
